The New Patriotic Party government has reportedly carried out “immeasurable and incomparable” development initiatives during the past six years, according to Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
Dr. Bawumia argued that Ghanaians should be grateful that the NPP government is in charge of the nation’s affairs despite the economic difficulties the country is facing.
He claimed that, in contrast to those who just make assertions without evidence to support them, the NPP government’s good deeds and sacrifices since taking office in January 2017 are supported by facts and data..
“Since being in office for the last six years, and according to the data available, we have created more jobs than any other government in the history of the Fourth Republic, and we have built more roads, we have built more classrooms, we have built more railways, and we have also built more factories than any other government since independence.”
Speaking at the New Patriotic Party’s 2022 Thanksgiving service, which was held at the party’s headquarters in Asylum Down in Accra, Dr. Bawumia noted that despite the global economic downturn, which had an impact on Ghana, the NPP’s reign had seen the completion of a number of projects.
“We have built more interchanges than any other government in the Fourth Republic,” he added.
NPP’s thanks giving
As it prepares to hold primaries to elect its presidential candidate and parliamentary candidates throughout the 275 constituencies, the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) is looking for God’s face.
Prior to the general elections in 2024, Justin Kodua Frimpong, the general secretary of the NPP, hopes that the party’s primaries will be a success free of any hiccups.
The NPP General Secretary expressed confidence that they would prevail in the two important internal elections thanks to the same God who had protected them and assisted them in winning the presidency.
