
The General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has paid a courtesy call on the rank and file of the party in the Volta region to celebrate his victory in the just-ended election with them.
He visited the Ketu South constituency of the region to make merry with the constituents. He was in the company of the Volta Regional Chair of the party – Hon. Dzifa Abla Gomashie and other executives of the party. They toured several communities within the catchment area.
He use the opportunity to inspect a police station he put up for the people in the area, which is ready to be fully operational.
They visited some churches in the Afao area such as the Assemblies of God Church, and St. Peter, and Paul Catholic Church. He showed his appreciation to the Church for their support for the NDC and also for mother Ghana, however, he asked for continued support for the country to get better.
They paid homage to the overlord of the Aflao traditional council, Fiti Adzonugaga Amenya (V), and also to Togbui Adamah of So,e traditional area.
He rounded up his tour at his hometown Nogokpo by visiting the chief of the area Togbui Saba
