The National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer candidate for the general elections of 2024, former president John Dramani Mahama, will begin his campaign on March 2, 2023.
This morning, February 28, 2023, Mahama announced the news in a social media post.
Along with three other people, including former Finance Minister Dr. Kwabena Duffuor, former Mayor of Kumasi Kojo Bonsu, and 43-year-old businessman living in the United Kingdom Ernest Kobeah, the former President is running for the NDC flagbearership.
The NDC, the largest opposition party, began accepting presidential candidate nominations on February 22 and ended it on February 24.
The John Mahama 2023 campaign launch, with the theme “Building the Ghana we want together,” will take place at the Cedi Auditorium at the University of Health and Allied Sciences in Ho, in the Volta Region, which is the NDC stronghold.
The party’s presidential primaries are anticipated to take place on May 6, 2023.
